The Fair Parenting Project strives to address common problems faced by children with separated parents, their parents, and their communities.

Our advocacy projects include:

  • Research into best practices for standardized parenting plans,
  • Solving problems at their source, including educating billing software developers about the need for doctors and dentists, children's recreational activities, and schools to be able to produce split, proportional and duplicate bills for children with separated parents.
  • Advocating for the abolition of parking lot transfers of children between separated parents. These events are traumatic for children and unacceptable conduct in modern society.
  • Continuing research into best practices.
